A full sail to Beirut in the video for 'The Rip Tide'
Beirut has surprised all and sundry up to a network the less unique video clip of 'The Rip Tide', the last single from the album released in 2011. Far from wanting to do something recurrent, this work led by Abdallah Houmam shows us a world of textures and shades of color in which is immersed a small but beautiful sailing vessel. Despite the simplicity of much of the production must be emphasized above all the remarkable synergy between the feeling of the theme and the video clip. At its 'The Rip Tide' seems to go on oceans, anchors and some other morbid maritime legend.
Beirut right now are finalizing the European tour that has kept him entertained from May 31 which performed on stage at Primavera Sound Mini. Even so it should be noted that in September the U.S. band back for the old continent to play in London, Leeds, Munich and some other cities. More details on this little tour of Europe next find them here.
