A full sail to Beirut in the video for 'The Rip Tide'

Beirut has surprised all and sundry up to a network the less unique video clip of 'The Rip Tide', the last single from the album released in 2011. Far from wanting to do something recurrent, this work led by Abdallah Houmam shows us a world of textures and shades of color in which is immersed a small but beautiful sailing vessel. Despite the simplicity of much of the production must be emphasized above all the remarkable synergy between the feeling of the theme and the video clip. At its 'The Rip Tide' seems to go on oceans, anchors and some other morbid maritime legend.

Beirut right now are finalizing the European tour that has kept him entertained from May 31 which performed on stage at Primavera Sound Mini. Even so it should be noted that in September the U.S. band back for the old continent to play in London, Leeds, Munich and some other cities. More details on this little tour of Europe next find them here.

The festive atmosphere of erotic music video 'Fjögur piano'

Sigur Rós will never disappoint. After launching a "Valtari" that falls short of expectations, Jonsi's band back in the news with the splendid music video 'Fjögur piano' where the director Alma Har'el surprises us with an oppressive, at the same morbid , erotic, festive atmosphere. Shia LaBeouf (Transformers, Disturbia) is the actor who stars in this clip, undoubtedly one of our favorites of this 2012.

This work is the third in the series "Mystery Film Experiment" that Sigur Rós are promoting for some weeks. If this video has already peaked, what's next?

Remember that the Icelanders will perform with The Killers, Kings Of Convenience JUSTICE and the DCode Madrid. All information regarding the can be found at this link.

Band Of Horses unveil another new track for Brazilian MTV

Yesterday we talked about the solo album and now Ryan Monroe's back to talk about it, but Ben, Bill, Creighton and Tyler. Together, as the big band Band Of Horses which are just via MTV Brazil reveal a new topic in acoustic version by the name of 'Everything'. In the video itself attached the lanky guitarist BOH confirms that the cut will appear on the next album that Americans are recording with Glyn Johns (The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Who).

The song, three minutes and a half, playing with the refrain "Everything is gonna be undone" and shows a much more upbeat melodic side and live from that presented in court earlier acoustic songs like 'For Annabelle' or 'Evening Kitchen '. Now all we need to see if the end result will be something similar to what is presented here. When we have the answer to this riddle? At least the end of the year.

The glorious fusion of styles disk Ryan Monroe (Band Of Horses)

Ben Bridwell gets all the media attention Band Of Horses. Whether his tattoos or his eternal voice, something that hooks into your figure. Even so every now and then the world should focus also on Tyler Ramsey or the beloved keyboardist Ryan Monroe, who has emerged as one of the protagonists of this June with the launch of "A Painting Of A Painting On Fire "the debut solo album of the bearded artist who went on sale yesterday (June 12).

I've had the opportunity to hear several times this LP through the web streaming of Paste Magazine and the truth is that the impressions have been excellent. "" A Painting Of A Painting On Fire "is a compact in which fuses rock, pop, soul and folk in an extremely organic. I am surprised to see the ease with which this artist has been launched to try to compose an album as complex, cool and well defined like this. Try to hear and see the experience that is fun to listen to the melody of ever-changing cuts like 'Turning Leaves Over' or the part that names the compact. For no longer speak of the great vocal ability that is emerging in other songs like 'Blame The Daylight'. Not afraid to play the guitar, try using the keyboard, singing, tuning, acoustic pull ... This man does it all and well!.

To find out it has worked closely as the process of composition of the disc here I leave you with a short documentary of 10 minutes. Does the maker of it? The usual: Christopher Wilson. This guy does not miss a single opportunity to record the process of composing something born within the band of horses.

Dana Buoy, chasing a dream in the video for 'Call To Be'

As noted at the time Dana Buoy, artistic alias Dana Janssen of Akron / Family, it was decided to release a solo album entitled "Summer Bodies" on 8 May. On this album, you can listen to Spotify through the end of this post, the artist treats us to some delicious melodies that move between the experimental spirit of his band and Afro pop phenomena like Vampire Weekend that prevailed in previous years. To support the album Dana promotion-ally released in recent weeks the video of the single 'Call To Be'.

In this clip we see Dana Buoy racing in Los Angeles obsessively behind a young girl. The recording brings nothing new to the sector but we found the less sympathetic nod to the music video "No One's Gonna Love You 'by Cee Lo Green is seen at the end of it. If you like the single I invite you to listen to the rest of "Summer Bodies". I've already been listening to the odd and it has become clear that Dana has done a Buoy compact, varied and very, very cool. Ideal for this Indian summer ahead.
