Palms or alliance between Chino Moreno and three members of Isis
Isis was dispersed in 2010 but three members of that group Caxide Jeff, Aaron Harris and Clifford Meyer - have signed Chino Moreno to form a new band by the name of Palms. This project comes as the last new entertainment Deftones frontman after he made in recent months with those that we are so pleased Crosses with their second EP.
"Clifford, Jeff and I started with Palms a little over a year. The intention was to continue making music after ending Isis "said Harris in a statement. "Chino scored soon after and our sound took shape since then. We have much work ahead of this first release and already we are keen to launch it. Is that okay to be back behind the drums, and with this template members. "
The fact that Chinese were a fan of Isis helped create this amazing set. Unlike Crosses - more focused on a more electronically atmospheric - the premise of this group, at least a priori, may be addressed to a much more metallic sound. At some point this year will be launched when a disc that has been self-produced by Moreno, Caxide, Harris and Meyer. We are expectant to hear this musical rebirth Deftones frontman.

The impact of the earthquake and tsunami were enormous and had an impact not only on the people of Japan, but manifested itself in the world. Especially with the progressive problems in nuclear power plants in Fukushima straighten the European countries, especially Germany, in memory of the Chernobyl disaster, their attention to the disaster area. In this country the attention of the situation was compounded by the 150th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries increased, which was celebrated in 2011 in Munich by various events.

Woyzeck overwrite - directed by Sebastian Blaise in the i-camp
On 20 21.4.2012 and presented the i-camp/neues Theatre Munich in Munich, staged the premiere of Sebastian Blaise stage play "Woyzeck override". Together with his team to Blasius embarks on a journey to the rupture zones of Woyzeck material and is trying a new perspective on the "theater of the oppressed often text" (citing Heiner Müller) to formulate. Sigal Zouk, Ludger Lamers, Arantxa Martinez and Edward de Mont Palolier - four dancers from different cultural backgrounds - to reconstruct here the movements and ways of speaking of actresses in their incarnations of several previous productions Woyzeck staff and develop a choreography.
As what can the historic gestures of an actor will read when they reconstruct nachschreiben dancers / - in the sense that it is the material absentee? What body which identities, which produces these presences confrontation? This debate arises an archive of memories and of course the associated question of how a deal with a cultural memory is possible today.
The same course will then be asked how the performers go into it in the various fictional movement languages and compete as a contemporary parallel, subjects can. Theatrical productions are known along the existing conventions and viewing habits are questioned. Perhaps the Büchner text can thus be something back that was always ignored"Woyzeck override" is the third part of a research that deals with the ways to remember historical staging material to update and apply paint, just to thereby open the space for an actual debate. Georg Büchner's "Woyzeck" seems perfectly suited for this research to: a text that invites because of its fragmentary character to breaking point to illuminate, try out alternative and requests him to just not be read as 'social melodrama'.

The Titanic Myth - Munich remembered even 100 years later
The Titanic Myth - in Munich, he also lives in 100 years aufAm sank the luxury liner Titanic 04.15.1912 in the depths of the North Atlantic after the ship was to be unsinkable, collided with an iceberg. Since then, haunted by the sinking of the Titanic through the collective consciousness and fired to be the imagination of journalists, novelists and filmmakers. The myth lives on. In Munich there are several ways this April to deal with films about Titanic. Firstly, the Munich Film Museum presents a series of works from the depths of film history, reminiscent of the disaster. On the other hand runs from today James Cameron's 11-times Oscar-winning blockbuster "Titanic" in the revised version of 3D in theaters.
In the film, Ernst Museum Schreckenberg is on 12.04. by 19 clock in his talk "... and again it goes!" with many film examples of the various known and lesser-known films to Titanic. "Atlantis" (1913) is a Danish silent film - one of the first full-length feature films at all - in which a large ocean liner sinks in the Atlantic. (13.04. At 18:30 clock). "Titanic - In Night and Ice" (1912) presents the misfortune soon after it happened, according to the Grüpelsee near Berlin, in "The sinking of the Lusitania" (1918), the sinking of a Passagierschifffs by a German U-boat represented as a cartoon.
Also, Alexander Kluge has dealt repeatedly with the issue. In "The Sinking of the Titanic" (2003), he follows the epic in 33 cantos by Hans Magnus Enzensberger. As a premiere at the Film Museum his short film "steamer broke" to see who - inspired by the misfortune of the Costa Concordia - Helge Schneider in four roles as a ship captain, naval writer, naval judge and cave diver. The end of the weekend is the classic "A Night To Remember" (1958) by Roy Ward Baker, who is considered the definintive film of the substance. It is based on the unsurpassed to this day documentary presentation by Walter Lord and strives to programmatically authenticity. Where James Cameron stages the great melodrama, Baker shows how it could have been real. (15.04. At 18:30 clock).
Those who would also like to look at a melodramatic film version, this can be done today as initially mentioned, in many cinemas in Munich, after exactly 15 years now since James Cameron's masterpiece returns from the sinking of the Titanic back to the movies. Using advanced 3D technology, the creators managed the breathtaking battle for survival will be even more intense and the focus-standing love story wins a new dimension - Leo and Kate once again within reach.
