Bipolarity millimeter in 'Upstairs' by Young Buffalo

In September we touch the climax thanks to 'Nature Boy', an affordable piece of Young Buffalo surprising for their freshest Afropop. By then it seemed impossible to come out another piece of the Mississippi duo came to like us more but ... surprise! Just a few hours ago we discovered another bombing Americans. A hit of these organic showing two faces: one more Afropop, with softer tones and pleasant, and a rock and electric.

Without further ado here we leave you with the great song of the week. It is entitled 'Upstairs' and its sound configuration that resembles a hair 'Inhaler' Foals that perplexed us a couple of weeks ago. If you like I recommend you listen to the EP you cast of Young Buffalo via Spotify. Admit it: is tremendísimo.

Listen 'Non-State Actor', another new theme Soundgarden

Just a few hours that has been uploaded to the network with a new complete song (no snippets this time) of Soundgarden. The piece in question is titled 'Non-State Actor' and will be the second of those presented in the final tracklist anticipated "Animal King" which will be released in final form on 13 November. Listen to below:

Somewhat themed protest ("We're not Elected, but we will speak '- Chris Cornell says in one verse),' Non-State Actor 'has a wild garden full of authentic riffs, which takes special role of the mechanical virtuosity Thayil and torn, and in this case something moderate, Cornell's vocal ability. Without being anything special extension this song is more styled, furious and accelerated 'Live To Rise', that composition already appeared on the soundtrack of the film "The Avengers".

It is only two weeks to get "Animal King" into our hands. We're running out of nails!

Listen to "Anthology", the double live album from Thrice

There have been some incredible years we have lived with Thrice. Release after release, the band has gone Dustin Kensrue altering the intensity of their stylistic waves, passing from the post-hardcore more visceral than its beginnings to the sleek metal and alternative charge of their last two LPS ("Beggars" and "Major / Minor "). There have been many kilometers they have traveled together, and this has finished running so much that they have not been other than separate. And this time it was not so sad, Thrice just released a double live album entitled "Anthology".

Comprised of 24 songs, "Anthology" captures the energy and power of the performances of these guys. With smaller interpretations of classics like 'The Artist In The Ambulance', 'Come All You Weary', 'The Weight' or 'Anthology' (one of our favorite songs of 2011), this double LP has become the best gift for any fan of this great band.

This double disc can be played in full, and free of charge, through the web of OCWeekly.

The grotesque 'Walk Of Shame' Perfume Genius in 'Take Me Home'

Not a few who are surrendering this year at the foot of Perfume Genius. With "Learning" in 2010 there was a first warning, but it was not until the release of "Put Your Back N 2 It" (2012) that has come true spread of the sensationalism of melodic ballads aframbuesadas Seattle musician. And is not that Mike reveals Hadreas fire with their songs, but her voice is so special that even in subjects like 'Hood' notice that our heart beats more rapidly. Another great song is this second LP 'Take Me Home', which features new single from right now with a video directed by Patrick sober Sher, who long ago and was behind the camera for 'Lookout, Lookout' Perfume Genius.

Wearing a football jersey, and keeping the balance with difficulty with a gaudy heels, Hadreas Mike does in the clip one of the 'Walks Of Shame' more grotesque than those seen to date. And in the video does not explain anything to us, and where it comes Mike (assume that a restless night with the driver of the car that appears at the beginning), nor does near the port area, or any details concerning the reasons for this situation. But there he is, trying hard to so deplorable that time were to have some sort of dignity. With glamorous movements, body swaying as if in the Cibeles and not in a grim industrial zone and peripheral.

The Black Keys return to start recording their next album in early 2013

In late June I inform you that The Black Keys were going to come in July to record their next album. Today, more than two months after launching the news, we learned a few more details concerning the present and future of that group that ate the world with the release of "Brothers" and "The Way."

"We spent a week in the studio" - admits Auerback on the famous U.S. publication. Apparently it was not the "most productive session" but he and drummer Patrick Carney took various ideas and start pulling miles. The bad about it? That as now are locked in a huge tour - we remember pass through Madrid in two months - is more than certain that The Black Keys will not record anything again until early 2013. "Do not end up [the LP] until March and we rotate a lot, but we'll see" - said the other part of the band: Patrick Carney.

Asked about the style of the successor of "The Way" Auerbach was very direct. "We never know what comes out when recording. We do not talk about it. Not planned. Just started recording everything takes shape and just having a clear idea. "According to the singer and guitarist "every album by The Black Keys represents a snapshot of a particular moment. We like that arise in this way, as purely spontaneous. "

For now the two artists still have no idea if they will produce the album themselves or they have the help of someone like Danger Mouse, producer who was behind his last three LPs. What has become clear is that the production of the album is going to make a fulminant so that, if all goes well, we may have in our hands the compact to fall / winter of next 2013. There are desires, right?

The singer of Band Of Horses will work in the new Biffy Clyro

Unexpected news that was published in yesterday, Ben Bridwell, Band Of Horses singer will collaborate on two tracks on the new double disc Biffy Clyro. "Opposites", which is how this release will be titled, will go on sale in early 2013, but we do not know the exact date of departure of the double LP.
Talking to NME, Bridwell revealed the birth of this vibrant collaboration. "I received an email from his A & R representative asking if we would be interested in singing a few songs. I'm a big fan of those guys, especially their last album, so I went crazy to read all this. I could not believe it. " - Ben claimed the British magazine. "Simon [Neil] and I got in touch and talk about it at various times. Months later, he called me and said they were ready to pull miles. At that time we were in the cycle and other promotional interviews, so finding time did not seem an option. But Bill [Reynolds, Band Of Horses bassist] and I set up a small recording device in the room of our hotel. We shout as loud as we could. "
Another incredible fact was that Ben Bridwell tried to realize the possibility of including the voice of Neil Simon and his two companions in one of the new songs from "Mirage Rock", the new album that will be released on 18 September (and has already been leaked on the net). "We wanted to sing a song called 'Dumpster World'. Even Simon sent it to me to see if I could get to like, but in the end the thing was diverted by jurisdictions that were out of our script. But yes, in the future I would love something happen. I think it would sound great on Biffy Clyro album Band Of Horses ".
While we dream of the result of these two issues, here we leave you with the live performance that Band Of Horses and Jim Jones of My Morning Jacket performed the new song 'Cruel Slow Hands'. Soon, very soon you will have on this website an extensive review of the new LP of the band of horses.

Discovering the (brilliant) new howling sound of Two Gallants

For the generic sweetness should never be considered better than the bitter taste. Everything depends on the context, situation and especially the palate of the person who will enjoy this dish. Is this strange way (I admit, that to resume work routine kills me) I come to explain how tasty it is the sink your teeth into the latest proposal musical Two Gallants, one of those duos who became known for his fame folkera more melodic, and now brighter than ever with a folk / rock filthy and vibrant.

I have had the opportunity to listen to "The Bloom And The Blight" on several occasions and I can not stop thinking about the brutal change Adam and Stephen have lived in the past two years. Now much of his melodies make the duo in solitary wolves that wandered in deserts of Nevada, howling crying to heaven for their misfortunes and miseries.

We have never seen so attuned to Californians, as rabid and as acojonantemente monumental. And a true reflection of this new face of Two Gallants is found in 'Halcyon Days', one that opens "The Bloom and The Blight" and that it will be facing one of the best songs that we will hear in this 2012. Does the review / review of the new LP of this couple? Soon, very soon.
